Beyond my evidence-based psychotherapies with clients, I adopt
a holistic integration of core therapeutic approaches

Self-Compassion

Integrating self-compassion into therapy empower us to develop a nurturing relationship with ourselves, fostering emotional resilience and promoting personal growth. By cultivating self-compassion, we learn together to embrace our experiences with mindfulness, loving-kindness, common humanity, and understanding, ultimately enhancing our overall well-being and ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Mindfulness

Incorporating mindfulness into therapy promotes our present-moment awareness, encouraging emotional regulation and the development of healthy coping mechanisms. By cultivating a non-judgemental and compassionate stance, mindfulness empower us to navigate our unique experiences, fostering self-acceptance, resilience, and improved well-being.

Strength-Based Approach

Using a strength-based approach for children with ADHD and learning difficulties helps build self-confidence and resilience by emphasizing their abilities and potential. By shifting the focus from weaknesses to strengths, this approach enhances children’s ability to cope with daily challenges, promoting emotional well-being and a strong sense of self-efficacy.

Self-Acceptance

Self-acceptance helps us cope with weaknesses and mistakes by fostering a nurturing environment for inner growth and improved relationships with our vulnerable parts and others. By acknowledging and embracing our imperfections, we learn together to develop a non-judgmental approach to view our weaknesses, explore our ability to adapt and persevere through challenges, and maintain a compassionate and understanding attitude towards ourselves and those around us.

Let’s build a therapeutic partnership for growth!
